We have been trying to sell the house for ages and two weeks ago we had a couple that viewed three times and decided it was their 'dream house'

 

We have been chasing the estate agent and found that they were waiting on news from the bank last Friday, again we waited and I chased yesterday. I was told the couple were trying to do the finance themselves but it wasn't moving along quickly so the agent arranged for them to come in today as the financial adviser had spoken with them and they were proceedable.

 

Agent called again to say they are proceedable and when they come in to confirm money they will make an offer.

 

Just got a call to say they cancelled as the wife has lost her job today :headvswal

 

I feel very sorry for them but why can't we just have some luck, it p*sses me off and is so frustrating as we have seen our 'dream house' to :rant:

me and michelle are like that, we never have any luck, we always have to work really hard to get things and we never get them first time, something always works out in the end though and we get by

bad luck mate ,i`ve had 3 offers on the place i`m living and all 3 can`t get morgages sign of the times !!

The house we want is in Newport, don't suppose your selling a 4 bed semi? :)

Where in Newport Anthony. Have to be nice to move here the city is turning into a right dump TBH. I really, really dislike living here

there are some well alright most places in newport are getting quite rough ,no anthony its 3 flats ...

were about to put ours up for sale, not looking forward to it but the house is much too big for us and i want to reduce the mortgage outlay so we can enjoy life again LOL

Well it just gets better, had the finacial adviser around this afternoon to discuss renting ours and getting a buy to let mortgage on ours and a new mortgage for this house. After bouncing figures around we can juggle enough money around to buy the new house.

 

So I call at 3 today to make an offer--- to be told he accepted an offer this morning which we believe was lower than ours!!! :headvswal:headvswal

Im sorry to hear that Anthony ive just gone through a simular experience myself allthough luckily for me ive come out on top i got it reduced by a 150k off the original asking price.

But now comes all the hard work and expense:headvswal
