Does anyone know where i can get a off the shelf roll cage for a 2+2

 

Cusco only lists SWB. Auto power house do them in the states but by the time in the country would work out very expensive!

 

Any where near Norfolk i can get one custom made?

 

Would prefer off the shelf so i can just buy one.

 

Want a full cage not just the rear.

there are no off the shelf full cages available in britain as there has never been any significant use of the 2+2 in any form of serious motorsport here.

There still isnt any significant demand as John Dixons idea of a group buy flopped..

there probably are people in East anglia who will make one off cages but their background will be in off road 4x4 stuff. So they will use big heavy tubes etc.

Proper motorsport fabricators will make you one as a one off but I suspect at eye watering prices.And they will need the car of course. you really need to consider 45mm bore 2.5mm wall CDS tube as the building base. that itself aint cheap and it aint common either as I have recently found out.

Leon is still on the case with the 2+2 cages but he's been snowed under, he has the jig done for the SWB and 1/2 done for the 2+2, will be getting back onto it I think when he comes back from holiday.

If anyone else is interested shout up and I'll give him a prod.

id be interested in weld in cage for chassis stiffening.

Would liked it sooner than later as its at a point where it can be fitted, soon will be too late. Well not too late but wont be able to be done for when i get it all back on the road.
