Not sure if anyone can help but:

 

Got a hottub with a stereo which is a JBL marine cd player.

 

Main problem is the FM signal is not great so i extended the arial to try to boost it which did help but the problem i have is when you try to tune in a radio station say radio 1 which round here is 99.6 fm you cant, reason being the stereo only does odd numbers is 99.5 then 99.7???

 

Looked all through the book and cant find anything so thought well we use is alot so bought via the net a nice new marine sony one, with ipod function mp3, remote etc etc so wired it all in and hey presto its the same :smw: WTF??? worse thing is the 2 main stations we liston to are 99.6 and 105.4 so i cant get either LOL

 

Any ideas?

yeh was thinking that, would it be ok as its out all the time but its under a gazebo and it has a cover over the front of the stereo?

Yep be fine, take the facia of if its not being used as they dont like the clorine much ,but make sure you check the esisting voltage as some used hihger volts ,if you pm me the make and modle number of the hot tub and radio i can get the voltage checked ,
