As most of you know my dog has been going through the wars of late so thought i would update you all.

After we had tried the anti biotics for a month or so and she still had pain the vet advised us that its time to do a biopsy and if while in there he could remove anything he would try.

He did advise us there is a big risk as the mass is around the main nerve in spine!!

Anyway he did the op a couple a weeks ago, phoned us after and was very worried, he said to prepare for nerve damage and possibly as bad as she may not be able to use her right rear leg as it was so small where he was working and to take s biopsy was hard.

So you can imagine we had a really bad night, went in in the morning and luckely no damage so took her home and waited a week to see what the results were.

Last week we got a call to say good news the results showed up pretty much nothing :)

So the vet "thinks" she does have hip dispacia which has caused a bad infection in her spine around the nerve which we got rid of with the antibiotics so all being well we can gradually drop her off her medication and she will cope ok.

So today she is having her stitches out, her back is still nearly bald and she has a 6 inch cut from her stump up her back LOL

Very releaved

Mike

Good news, I've got two Boxers and seem to be in and out of the vets every couple of months.
