Hi All,Ok i recently bought myself a 300 TT import, a car i wanted for a long time.* It needs some work, i had an idea of what was needed befor i bought it, i just didnt have 5k to hand so my options were limited.Anyways was wondering if anyoe could give me some info or maybe where to look for some.It has a Kakimoto cat back exhaust, HKS turbo timer, Blitz induction these are the parts i knew about when i bought it.* So, now its in my garage and ive had time to give it a little look over i have noticed an HKS automatic line oil pressure controller and a KAKIMOTO ecu (or at least it has there sticker and there seals) does anyone know where i can find out anything about this ECU or if its ok to open ie break the company seals(is this needed) been to the website but its all in bloody japanese and i cant read the pictures... and what does the line oil pressure controller do(why have an uprated one)I've also included pics of my engine bay maybe there is something else i have missed.Oh one last thing* when i got the car both inner turbo boost pipes were taped up (i have replaced now) and when i removed i noticed a hole in each about the size of a 2p, my assumption is the boost had been increased the stock boost guage does not go higher than it should and i can see no indication of a boost controller anyone give some ideas of where i might find one and what to look for.Any info would be great:bow:, i need my timing belt done and centre bearing so if i need anything else i want to get it same time, ive a week off coming up and it will be useful:hyper:

The HKS ALP makes the autobox more responsive by keeping the pressure high all the time rather than under accellaration,, only way to understand the ecu is to have a look at the fuel maps in a conzult I guess.

cheers, never thought it would be for the box but cool. will get them to check consult when i get timing belt done then. would prefer a manual, maybe get the conversion sometime but supose its wise to have the auto for my first z...

anyone got any info on the adjuster on the side (is this on all ECU''s)

Its for turning the ECU into diagnostics mode (to get the error codes), its standard.

Its a standard ECU with a remapped chip by Japanese tuning company. I always prefer to replace an unknown JDM chip with a Known quality UK mapped chip.

The Fuel and timing maps can be analysed, and the parameters for Speed limits, rpm limits, injector K values checked ..etc

Its only about 70pound for a remapped chip by somebody like John dixon anyway though.
