its a 5.1 with sub and all that........imo, if your on a budget this is a bargain.

What do you call cheap? I personally don't think the really cheap, all-in-a-box systems are worth bothering with, as you'd achieve far better overall sound just getting a simple stereo system. I work for a shop that sells surround sound systems, but what people class as cheap varies hugely!

dont get me wrong i have about £10k worth of home cinema kit in my front room but just wanted a cheap and cheerful system for my ps3 in my games room as the sound of the tv on the wall is a but kak LOL

i think i have sourced a samsung 2.1 system second hand for £35 now :) which i'm sure will be fine

cheers for the input

Mike

cool, hope it works well :)

What home cinema kit have you got? I'm a big stereo person myself, but am still in to the home cinema side to some extent.

i have toned it down a bit when i moved house as the living room is smaller but i have a 50" panasonic 1080p plasma, sony bluray, sky hd, denon 4306 amp running B&W MT-30 speaker system and quality cabling and interconnects etc

sounds good for a small speaker set up and the sub is amazing but then again the sub was £1200 on its own LOL

my last system was slightly bigger running 7.1 again with B&W speakers and a projector with a 8 foot screen :D great for the footy

good stuff, we do Denon in our shop so I know that one well.

I'm big into Naim Audio gear myself, it's addictive, serious competition at the moment between that and the Zed!

Go for a hi-def projector dude, I`v got a panasonic ptae 900 with hdmi input, linked to my ps3, fooking awesome, forget tvs and plasmas its the dogs b`s, I`ve converted my garage into a games room, call of duty 4 on a 10ft screen, with prologic sound. look on e-bay you can pick em up now for about £400, keep an eye out for the lamp hours, over 1500hours is gettin on a bit and they cost £300 when they blow, but worth every penny!!!!!

Darren, sorry completely off topic, but what are those wheels on your car? I rather like them, quite unusual looking.

you can't beat the b&w 6 series on price for performace. My sub just cost me £1300 and another £700 for the room EQ (SVS PC13 Ultra and SVS AS-EQ1)

Hi Bud, Wheels are 19" ace aviators got them from wheelbase in Manchester, I first saw them on a 350z with a veilside kit on, looked awesome considering it was a 350, lasted great for 3 years then the road salt corroded them, but i`ve just had them refurbished, look good but not as good as they used to, they look better in real life :)

Daz .

I've got an Acoustic Solutions 5.1 set up with my HD projector and considering it was only £100 it's awesome.
