I got a slight whiiring like a surpressor gone now i got no gears when warm:'( good when its cold changed fluid in box still the same. Is it the bands gone ? And how hard is it to fix as im skint :$

yes mate rebuild time. mine cost 1500 quid to do.

much cheaper to get a second hand box fitted.

cost me £1400 for the rebuild just need a new auto cooler now as the old one is blocked by all the crap when the last box distroyed itself

what colour was the old fluid? did it smell burnt?

 

if so then dead box if not could be pump or torque converter.
