Should be a good episode, some bits they showed us they still hadn't edited them together properly but the feature this week is very funny :D

I don't like you any more.

(only joking ;) :D )

Damn you. Lucky man.

That Black Z, where was that parked then, staff cars ?

Did you see the red Z from the previous episode ?

Any interesting stories...do they have to do a lot of re-takes during filming ? Do you get to watch the Feature film bits as well (everything filmed out of studio) ?

I don't think it was a staff members car, they take you a bit of a weird route from the entrance past all the different business units but that was right next to the studio itself so who knows lol

Nope, i was looking round for cars from the previous episodes but there was only the lancaster and hammond's car. The only other one i saw parked there was the SLR Sterling Moss edition but that's another story.... :x:

The day started with the guys coming up on stage and a woman fainting which clarkson took the piss saying it was understandable as alot of women faint when he comes on  Clarkson had to do the intro so hammond and may were taking bets on how many takes it would be and clarkson nailed it in one  Fair played to him and the rest they're pros at their job, no scripts, they just ad lib the whole show which is pretty amazing.

They do sort of film the episode in the order that you would see it on the telly and they dim the lights and play the features as you'd see them. Loads of monitors all round and the sound isn't too bad.

The top gear studios are actually alot more compact than you'd think and the place looks packed when in fact they just shuffle people around the various sections as they film them to make it look more full than it is.

Clarkson did do a few retakes on the links but only because he messes around with the words a bit in fact one point he was asking the audience for ideas for an anology :D

All three of them are sound when you meet them in the flesh, very humble and quite happy to talk. Little tip if you can wait till the sunday to see the features go outside for a ciggy (i don't smoke i might add) because may and clarkson go outside for one at that point and you can go and have a good one on one with them :)

The advertising feature is hilarious and the white monaro bathurst you see in the background sounds superb (there is a bit more to that feature as well ;))

May fluffed the name of the new nissan they had in the studio a couple of times and made a comment that electricity doesn't exist at which point clarkson asked if there was an electrician in the audience and being the only electrician in the audience i dobbed my mate steve in  So cameras panned over to him (and supposedly me too lol) and off the cuff he gave the best explanation as to what electricity is and how it works to may.

No idea if it'll make it to the show but the news section itself goes on for about 30 minutes they just cut it down to the funny bits.

The cool wall is back for the last episode (maybe forever from what they were saying?)

There was a hot lap from a luuuuuurvly car (maybe mentioned above) and another 7 litre V12 entered the studio which appears in the feature at the end with clarkons driving it. It was a really rough edit without any monologue over the top but beautifully shot.

All in all a really interesting day and great to see how it all goes together, the guys are brilliant at their job and the whole thing is very slick :D

Was a bit disappointed that Jay Leno wasn't actually in the studio for SIARPC (plus i'd positioned myself just behind the guest sofa!) but hey ho it was great to meet the guys in the flesh.

I TOUCHED JAMES MAY - NOW WORSHIP ME!!!!!!

Wow Sounds like a great day:bow: , may put my name on the list who knows could get on there before the Z hit's the big 30 lol, looking forward to the episode and will try and spot ya

lol, 68 years according to the researcher

Keep your eyes peeled for mr bunny behind the tv in the news section about 3-4 rows back. I'm the tallest guy in the studio so should be pretty easy to spot

Will have my eyes peeled on the wide screen :D, and dont think the Z will be here then :x:

did you see the stig ? (with his helmet on lol)

sounds like good day mate :) i met the top gear guys at my mates wedding as he is james mays nephew, was a wicked nite getting pissed with jessa, hamster and may :)
