Dilemma!

Dilemma....but think i have made my decission.

Ok folks, as use all kn ow i bought stellaz car knowing i had to do something with the engine.

My first plan was just to go for a replacemet engine from jeff at zedworld as the engines go through a strict amount of tests before being decalared safe to be put in the car.

Then people started going on about rebuilds and i started to swing that way.....

But i think i have my answer.....at the moment the zed should be running around 346bhp at fly and 286 at the wheels, which im more than happy with as speed and thats on a standard engine....So i think i am going to go for the replacement engine from jeff and look into uping the bhp some other way....but just to have roughly 300bhp at the wheels.

Just wondering what you guys thoughts on this are and if you know how low the mileage is on the engines jeff supplies?

With getting the engine replaced it leaves me plenty cash for other things to get sorted out.

Cheers

Craig

Have you asked Jeff what mileage engines he has got mate?

Personally i think getting Jeff to whack you a nice engine in there is the way forward. Then just get an EBC hooked up to it and you're all set

Might sound daft mate........EBC??

remember though its not bhp that gives you acceleration, it tourque and the engine in ya zed produced 373lbft of torque which is very good, im sure its down to the flywheel and decatt, i would reccomend lightened bottom pulleys, they aint much to buy but will help with the torque

K&N induction kit would be where to start ;)

Seriuosly though, 300bhp is fairly straight forward. Have a read here....

i think i would maybe opt for some uprated tubs (nothing major) and an engine replacement from jeff

did ya get the docs i sent ya

hmmmmmm, im sure Jeff could inlighten me into that if there is any other things he could do to a replacement engine to slightly upgrade it.

But i think im defo set for a replacement engine due to the cost.

add a one piece lightened prp to that. IMO they are a bargain from Z1

Why what would the blitz air filter do from reving to much?

Have sent a queery away to z1 regarding some parts such as 1piece prop, gearbox mount and RFL BOvs.

aw. ok.lol. I was thinking about the K&N before but engine getting sorted is more important.
