Ok this may have been asked before , apart from the flywheel is it ok to replace a manual engine using old gearbox with an automatic engine ? is there anything that needs to be checked or changed? and does the automatic engine have any performance differences ?

yes its fine. The auto engien has Cam differences and Turbo differences, makes around 20hp less but is designed to spool up the turbos a little quicker (to make up for the autobox inefficiency).

 

You will need to swap over the Balance bar on the plenum (auto version missing a feed for the clutch booster), and you will need to remove the spigot bush from back of crank and fit manual bush.
