Just watched it...and they called us cheapskates because we couldn't afford a Lamborghini. They didn't totally slate the Zed and gave some good points to look out for when buying (Turbo's, rattle's etc). Shame they missed out on all the other possible issues that you could have, would of made a good program.:hyper:

Not a bad little clip that IMO - alternator thing is a bit of a mystery, however my dads did go faulty, but it certainly did'nt just go out of the blue and i don't hear of many going, certainly not enough to make a point of saying on national TV its a common fault lol.

I dont like being called a cheapskate - however if someone wants to swap a lambo for my zed i'd be more than willing to accept... :D

have no idea where they get the rubbish about the alternator from. Have seen that written in old magazine reviews as well.

 

...and they were not quite correct about the turbo boost gauge.

 

But otherwise a pretty good feature.

Well that little dimwit will be coming out with the "datsun" crack and they generally slag off the 300 anyway.

Will obviously give it a watch , but not holding out for much considering one of Hammond’s last comment on the Z

no, its was in the 300zx Z32 vs 350z feature...stupid thing is it weighs about same as the 350z it was being compared to anyway.

 

We dont know who is driving the 300zx yet though..could even be Hammond, in which case he will be praising it while clarkson slags it off...despite Clarkson listing it as one of his top 100 cars.
