Come on guys everybody else seems to be having such a great time at all their meets and we are having.... 0!!!

This is ridiculous as we all have a common interest (our Zed's) yet none of us are meeting up to share stories, problems, good times and ideas about them!

 

i think we should have a meet as its about bloody time we did!And i mean a decent meet not 3-4cars like the last one (which i had to cancel on due to excessive oil leaking)

 

so who is with me??how about Next Sunday (19th)

Everybody that wants to meet put your name down and where you are and then a few days before i will try and locate the most central place for everybody!

or everybody could come to stafford and we could go to a brewers fayre just off the M6 and/or go to a Carvery in the middle of town (start meet just off M6 for easy access)

I'd potentially be up for something, but if it's a Sunday then it'll depends where and when as the earliest I could leave (Shropshire) would be about 12ish, i.e. earliest I could get to Stafford would be about 1pm.

This has always seemed to be a problem organising a good meet. There have been quite a few of the good regulars that are no longer associated with the club who would almost always attend a Midlands meet.

I suppose the other problem is that the Midlands Area covers a lot of ground and so it means that the few that are willing to do the meets are flung in all directions. We do seem to have a hell of a lot of guys n gals who are just not interested in meeting up for a pint, a munch and a chat at all! Ive said it before, and I'll say it again, a lot of the membership are simply on here for info/help and are just not interested in any form of club activity! They are not 'Car Owners Club' people, they are simply car owners!

 

Incidentily I can't remember the last time we had a Midlands meet that was this side (East) of the Midlands!! ;)

i think we should plan a major meeting one day.......say something around a month or 2 in advance then, this allows time for people to plan it etc etc. I think the best place would be somewhere around north west england as this allows all us scottish folk to travel down, the welsh to come across and oviously several english people........think that would be the best area for a huge meeting?

having a browse through maps etc i feel Derby might be a good area to meet as its more central than anywhere on the M6!
