To be fair, its not like the 300zx's dash is a masterpiece... the pods are just nailed on by the side of the steering wheel,

 

 

But at least they have been designed like that for a purpose. The gtr just looks as it has been made with mega blocks. ;)

Its a fair point! It is a very unusual design on the 300zx, i rather liked it I must admit... much less effort than having to reach all the way to the centre of the car to adjust the climate control in the BM!

For the price of the car, it's a bargain and I'm happy they cut the cost on things that don't really matter as much as power and handling.

Yeah as a performance and handleing it is a machine you cannot fault that.

i think the GTR's interior looks nice. as much as i like my zed i dont know how anyone could compare the 2. different leagues all together. The GTR's build quality is far superior regardless of the way the interior looks.

The 350z interior on the overhand, while looks "ok" is poorly put together with cheap plastics. The R35 interior looks better and higher quality.

I hadn't really looked properly at the R35 interior till now....and well...:hurl:

 

It looks so cheap and dated! Look at the cack grey plastic buttons!! As for the square styling I think that's what all the skylines have had in the past which is another reason why i LOVE the 300zx interior!

well ive seen one of these in the flesh and yes impressive looking saloon car,but remember a 300 is a sports car a totally different look,shame they dont launch a brand new 300 updated in looks aswell ,then we will have a conversation on our hands ,,eg v8 twin turbo 480 bhp the mind boggles.

I've had a go in one. Fantastic cars, absolutely amazing....BUT, the dash is as bland as an omelette and I am not awestruck by their appearance. But the mechanicals and performance are just incredible.

agree 100%. the center bit is just flat plastic with ugly nobs on it :(

Yup, it's not sporty in the slightest. Looks very agricultural, although quite well built. Dunno why, but it reminds me of the interior of a high-grade tractor/JCB type thingy.
