my wife reckons sussex stu looks like al murray...are you related by any chance mate? :D

    All shot in the UK as well mate. Queens barracks for the training, and the docklands for the deployment.

     

    and Sgt hartmen was played by a real life drill instructor who was originally hired as a technical adviser. Seems they couldn't find anyone who lived up to how he did it.

     

    Quality film.......Think that's my viewing sorted for tonight

     

     

    Never knew any of that about the filming , and yep he did really make that part come alive !! love it though classic film :D
