my tomtom 520 go has just started playing up and has just run out of garantee:headvswal its slow to come on and when it does i get a red cross and flashing HD. it wont connect to my pc or nothing, is it worth send ing off to be fixed or not. i am pi55ed cause its only been used about 12 times was thinking of binning it and buting a different make any ideas?

Might be worth sending it to TomTom to see what they can do. Tell them it's had very little use and your not happy.

Just had a problem with mine not connecting to the PC. Have you tried:

 

Take SD card out, Push reset button for 15 seconds, then push power button for at least 5 seconds

mine doesn't have an SD card in it, its a blank plastic SD card
