Bob, that is a kickin install!! How can I get the details to do it on mine. I've been meaning to do it for some time. I have got my three alpine amps buried under the original floor, sort of all hickledy pickledy. I've also got a twin 8" bazooka base tube. I would like to get the whole install looking hot.

Rear speakers, when i did Marks i phoned around a few suppliers looking for the best 6/4 speakers on the market. A number of them came back reccomending Kicker, so i got a set to try. Well after putting them in i can honestly say they kick! For a small speaker we had to turn the gain`s on the amp down as they were bouncing. The only mod reqd to fit then was the drilling of 4 holes as they don`t quite line up, also if you get a set use the thicker spacer, you won`t be disapointed!!

Grant, the best thing to do is give me a call to start with then i can get an idea of what you`re after, 01244 380915, we`ll take it from there.

This is mainly aimed at Bob (THE GOD so you all say). With the Bose systems with a centre speaker in the dash, is there any point in keeping it?

Also do you know what the best speakers would be to replace the front door speakers are?

Sorry but more, Do they have any amp's hidden amoungst the car or is it all run from the head-unit?

By the way I also agree Kicker 6*4's are the best I've seen as well, fitted a few sets to Golf MkII's during descrete installations.

Cheers

5 1/4`s go in the front ok but you will probably get a set of 6`s in. Take the Bose system out and re-wire it all! There is an amp built in and you will find it under the plastic panel in the boot, near the ABS system

Bob (not quite a God)!

I have a pair of Infinit Kapa 3 ways 6.5inch in the front.
