Even the engine has had a bit of bling

Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6

I think the Clarkson/Top Gear quote "your not truly a Petrol head till you have owned an Alfa" is what did it.

What a surprisingly good car to drive ! Engine is incredibly responsive and loves to be revved with plenty of performance.

Suprisingly everything works and nothing has fallen off so far. In fact feels very solid to drive.

Im sure its not everybodies cup of tea but Im happy, and luckily the Wife is too :D

you got a great parking area there by the way is all that yours?

dan.:)

Yep :) Although were moving next month into a new Build and that has crap parking :(

If I had my way we'd have a house with a Massive garage and loads of parking but with just a Tent to live in.

I bought an Alfa 156 earlier this year, as my first 'sensible' car after a long string of 280bhp+ cars.

I love it, its got loads of character, ticked all the boxes for what I wanted, and I've done over 5k in it now ans it hasn't skipped a beat

That 155 looks smart, look a bit old fashioned on the outside now but its got nice interior and a decent engine! Enjoy! :)

A lot of people say it's the best V6 engine ever made :D

I had a 156 V6 with a slightly newer version of the same engine and I'd have to agree.

They rev like nothing else and are so smooth and responsive.

Was worse on petrol than my Z though when pushed!

The bling pipes are standard :)

I've had a few Alfa's and loved them all. Loads of character and unusual features but never had a problem with any of them other than a gearbox go on an ex demonstrator that might have been caned on test drives. Was under warranty anyway.

Love the 155 and always wanted the Silverstone special edition which had black wheels a bit like yours but they look like standard painted black??

Enjoy!

Had a 156, but made the mistake of getting the diesel, most unreliable a car I ever had, the list of things that went wrong is epic.

Saying that I know a lot of people who've owned them trouble free.

Have to agree, stunning motors to drive

I've had 2 155's and absolutely love them as a cheapy fun motor. Also, the two I've had never once had a single problem - the most reliable cars I've owned. They do use a bit of oil though ;)

If you want any cheap parts/advice check out http://www.alfa155.org/forum/index.php - I'm always on there too :)
