Hi folks maybe someone can save me hours doin electrical fault finding as my light on the dash stays on saying that the doors or the boot is open which it isnt. Ive got a clifford 300 alarm fitted and pretty sure this will cut into that circuit somewhere.

I have disconnected the boot connector and the tried operating the door push buttons by hand and still the light stays on. Now before i start taking the drivers display apart i just wanted to check if anyone was familiar with this circuit and if there was any other connectors i could test before i went into the dash.

Thanks for any help in advance

ok i just had a look this morning and the relay is working fine i can hear it but i cant see any switch under the bonnet. Is this something that would be added on with the alarm???

there´s a switch under the bonnet, at least on mine there is....hmmm is it just US models that have a switch there ?..thought they all had one .

you can´t really miss it...on mine its like between the fuse box and the tower strut or whatever you call the thing where the shock absorber bolts into from the top..has a rubber grommet thing over it ...mines a left hand drive though.

I had a look at there definately isnt a switch under the bonnet which means my problem is either to do with the alarm or its in the dash somewhere. Anyone know where the wires come down to b4 they go to the doors and boot?

thats a U.S model only thing.

Have you unscrewed the door sensors to check the wiring is intact behind them ?, thats probaly where the alarm is wired in too.
