We will be using the field at West Meon Hut to run a Japanese car show with a number of competitions to enter. We will be extending the invite to other local Japanese clubs so we should have a record amount of numbers on the day! [if you have been linked here from another club/website please sign up and add your name to the list here so we get an idea of numbers, thank you]
The following competition categories will be ran:
Shiniest car
Best overall car
Weirdest mod
Barmaid's choice
We will be using voting forms, everyone has to pay £1 to enter and every car is entered in each competition. Everyone gets one vote per category, apart from barmaid’s choice where a barmaid will decide on her favourite jap ride!
"Weirdest mod" should be entertaining and we challenge you to come up with some creative/crazy/unusual mods for the day! Can be anything you like.. we've already had ideas of pringle can exhausts and cardboard body kits but I'm sure you can do better so get the thinking caps on!
"Shiniest car" Pretty much what it says on the Tin, an excuse to do a full 3 stage clay bar session maybe? :P
The £1 entry fee will be used for trophies to be won for each prize and the rest will go into a pot and will be split evenly for each competition winner. And of course you get the bragging rights of getting the award added to your profile on the website :D
We hope this will be a big and enjoyable event for everyone and we plan on making it a yearly event :D
As usual West Meon Hut will be providing great value food and drink throughout the day.
