quick question......when you first start her up,is the the cat overheat light on dashboard meant to come on?.....its just that is hasnt been then 2nite when leaving work it came on,went straight out, but performance seems greatly improved.....was pulling a hell of alot better....

the light goes out straight away....its just when the engine first fires up,about 1 second....when you turn the key you have the handbrake light and the battery light...fires up,the cat light appears aswell,then they all go out............doesnt come on while driving......

I think overfueling is one cause for it coming on, but I doubt thats your problem as the cats could not overheat so quickly?

my cat light came on when i scorched her, she cut out for a few secs, light came on, then back to normal, no light and good performance.

if ur tubs r good, get the cats gone.

i had mine rebuilt perhaps 3k ago! Heard dreadful stories of Decats killing Turbo's due to back pressure etc! How dodgy is it?? looking at NW RR day results saw about 10hp increases for ppl whom had Decats so it does help!
