The bluray player looks good..the sound system is only 3.1 surround.....most sound recievers these days are 5.1/7.1...depends if your bothered about the sound quality....would still sound good though...just not mega good.....

looks ok, i think you would be better getting a 5.1 surround system and a seperate bluray player

ps3, yamaha A1 and B&w's 601's 2's /cc6 all round is what I would go for and a paradigm servo 15 if I had the cash to spend bang for buck

i did use to have all separate gear but its all too much with ps3, 360, wii, sky. my lounge looked too cramped i thought this system would be 5.1 if i added the rears

you could just go for a compact all in one system and just use it for the surround, you can get a half decent one for £150 now and then get a panasonic 35 bluray player which are about £180 :)

any you recommend i'm not looking to save money just want a good system without crowding my tv area. i would like tall boy spekers at the front and maybe wireless rears

my brother in law has just bought a panasonic system and it sounds really good and was only £180 ish obviously its never going to sound as good as a seperates system

i had £1000s of technics dts system and in all honesty my lounge saps sound like mad i just couldn't get what the system could do even my brother in law bought his huge disco speakers and they just didn't sound the same as when they were at his house, i dont know why it does this but cause of this i sold all my system and got an all in one sony 5.1 dvd system so i would like something similar or as you have said a stand alone blu-ray and a sound system

if your rooms to cluttered how about a soundbar....i have one and there fantastic sounding,and they fit under your tv if on the wall.......http://www.soundandvision.co.uk/search-soundbar

its not too cluttered its just im trying to reduce all the crap i have will look at the sound bars thanks
