Hi guys well hear we go,a week ago my car started hight reving 1500rpm and it wont go down ,now ive change my TPS and that has not dun the trick,now i no its got to be one of the sensors that controll the throttel but i just dont no how many there are or where thay are, ive had to put my car on hold now as i was in the middel of selling it :cry: but i cant now untill this prob is solved.Another prob is that there is no auto electrical specialist out there that can help because thay dont have a diognostic for my car.:shock: so i need help, wot do i look for and where. :confused:

Sorry I havent had much dealings with the eletrics, or the engine as a matter of fact on mine. Could be one of a multitude of things Have you changed anything recently or switched on the air con, vacuum leak, dodgy sensor ?

The air regulator appears to cause high tick over in some instances, along with a hundered other things.

get your car down to D2 in strood and im sure they will be able to sort it for you. pm me if you wish to have theyre details.

Give the temp sensor (yellow plug) mounted on the cooling pipe just behind the fan cowl a wiggle and see if it brings the revs down, the connectors tend to get a bit corroded.
