Some of you might know that I ref ice hockey, I have been working in one of the senior leagues (not the top one tho) some of last season and all of this season. I got a call yesterday inviting me to officiate at the finals weekend in Coventry this weekend.
Basically they select who they consider to be two of the top ref's to do one semi each then one to do the final and the other to do the U18 final. So I will ref 2 of the top 4 teams in the English National League, with a bit of luck it means I have a chance of moving up next season to the 2nd highest league in this country!
