i was hoping that the older z cars would join us for this however they are attending a classic car show on SAT. 27TH JUNE @ THE BALLYMENA SHOWGROUNDS

the venue i had in mind was HOPE CASTLE, CASTLEBLANEY CO. MONAGHAN. for sun 28th. the datsuns may or may not join us.

 

another thing i was thinking of was taking a club stand at the TERENURE CLASSIC SHOW ON SUNDAY 5th. JULY but this is just 1 week later

all the more reason to "get your z out for the a meet" how is work progressing dave? btw i was talking to chewie last week he was up in dublin for a few hours wed. but i was in birmingham, i paid a visit to zworld in the afternoon you would have loved the place and jeff and his wife linda and son jamie were so nice and welcoming we even had coffee and cream cakes. and seen about 12 zs

hmmm progress, slowly unfortunately :( weather isn't really helping, and the fact I can't get the damn thing started to get it out of the driveway and turn it around lol ah well I'll persevere :) and my new run about that I wasn't spending any money on has grabbed my attention a little :nono:

 

I'll have to take a trip over to Jeff at some stage for some cream cakes myself, oh and for some work on the zed as well I suppose.

I've voted for all 4 options as they all suit me, zedless unfortunately but I'll still pop along and say hi

My Z went in for a respray yeasterday and should be out in 2 weeks so i will be up for the original date in monaghan. Keeping the Z red but puttin a metallic finish on it and fixin alot of corrosion on the sills and underbody while im at it.

Sounds nice, lookin forward to seeing it

i hope so. i am doing alot of the work myself but gettin an expert to do the actual sprayin. starting on the sanding tomorrow. long horrible job, but gotta be done. lookin forward to the meet.

i cant do the may meet as im not taxin my Z untill june and if im stopped again they will deffo take it off me. But if its june i will be there.

I'm looking forward to the meet. Today was a beautiful sunny day, so I jump started the zed and took her out for a wee spin. These really are beautiful motors. Loved ever minute of it.
