Hey,

Ideas for what i can get? possible something that'l keep me mildly entertained!!

Open to any ideas, around the £2K mark.

Going to be doing a 400 miles week, so something that'll hopefully survive a year or more.

Cheers,

Ste

get a golf gttdi there a 1.9 diesel 150bhp when new and you can get them chipped upto a safe 200bhp and still get around 50mpg smiles all round :)

I recently started a new job needing to use my own car, wanted something

diesel/cheap/low'ish miles etc...

A mechanic mate recommended a rover 25 tdi, has a bmw designed engine.

I paid a grand for an x-reg with 58k on the clock with history. Have done

10k in it now, hasn't missed a beat, would recommend one of these, if you

can live with the build quality!

I don't think Ste is a hairdresser tho

 you could write what i know about hairdressing on the back of a stamp.

thanks for taking the time to find it though! :)

I always thought these things were great, although it's probably not exactly what you're looking for. It's based on a Starlets running gear so the mechanical parts are easy enough to find. Just don't break any of the windows.....
