South Wales convoy to Billing

If anyone is travelling from South Wales, I'll be leaving Caerphilly at 6:00 am. I plan to reach the Severn bridge by 8:30 and if the wind is behind me I should have crossed it before 9:45. I'll have to slow down a bit after Bristol because it's uphill.

 

After that it's relatively flat and if I stick my suspension on hard then I should be able to sustain over 45 mph even on the motorway bends.

 

At Swindon I will be selecting 4wd and taking a straight line to Billing. I expect to arrive at around 4:00 pm if I've kept my foot down all the way.

 

If anyone finds any speed traps on the way then I'm unlikely to be overly concerned.
