When i am driving around and I have to stop at a juncion or whatever, sometimes when i go to accelarate away, the accelarator pedal feels like it's stuck but if i press down a little bit harder it unsticks and then the power light comes on ... it doesn't do this all the time, but it's really annoying... what could be causing it to want to go into power mode and for the accel pedal to suddenly stick a bit for me to force it down before i pulll away... any ideas guys?

It will always go into power mode with full throttle. When you push it all the way down you activate a switch at the bottom of the accelerator stroke that activates power mode.

what i mean is that the pedal feels hard to push down;

 

i.e. car at junction - no revs - go to push accelerator pedal down - pedal feels stiff/stuck and wont push down - i force it down and it clicks into power mode..

 

but it doesnt do it all the time..

 

i think you thought I meant that the pedal just sticks down and holds at open throttle..... any ideas?

check your throttle cable isnt getting caught on anything in the engine bay.
