Following on from the success of last years event I have been in contact with Castle Combe about us attending the event this year.

 

Castle Combe Race Circuit

Saturday 25th April 2009

 

If its road legal, has four wheels and an engine chances are it will be eligible for our Performance Car Action Day.

 

Displays from some of the largest performance clubs, stands with lots of tuning parts and accessories and you have the reason why this day is so popular. Look out for trophies for the best car and best club stand of the show.

 

Open to anyone with a suitable car and current driving licence.

 

 

Your car will be on display at the 300zx Club stand and 15min Track time sessions are available on the 1.85 mile Race track.

 

You do not have to put your car on the Track if you do not wish to.

 

Exact prices tba as we get a certain amount of passes free as a club so will depend on numbers - But around £20 per track session and £7 entry per person.

 

Please put your names if you wish to attend. Please indicate how many admission passes required and any track time you would like

Hey dave what happened to jimmy's z? from vid done by mike? gutted we missed it but roll on japfest:D

 

PAS failed (boiled fluid, believed to be from water contamination), resulted in a bit of an off on one of the corners into tyre wall. Luckily just a front wing damaged.

 

He was going really well out there though, car looked great on the track.

Who's is this?? :(

 

 

its paul@swz's vert.....he said he is binning the bumper next week when his 99spec arrives.

The Veilside bumper is without doubt one of the most hideous monstrosities EVER conceived! Hope the skirts and rear bumper get skipped too!

It got bolted on at 2am that morning as the only bumper available. Its hideous...and it sits way to high, despite the car actually being lowered quite a bit.

Rubbish! I am sure there's more than one bumper at Paul's place! :rofl:

...also, it used to HAVE a friggin' 99-spec bumper! :confused:

The whole reason ive spent all this money is to use it on the track, i only came as a last minute thing just for a tester, BUT im happy i came as my discs cracked, steering failed and i have too much oversteer all these things i will work on for next time. Looks like the bigger tubs will have to wait for a while till ive sorted this lot out.

Jimmy, Japfest in 3 weeks, are you tracking you zed again at Japfest ? :shock::shock:

I had a wicked day, sooo glad i went and was nice to take the car for a run. Good weather and good company.
