I haven't driven my Zed properly since last October. On Sunday I repaired a power steering leak, overhauled the brake calipers, changed the pads & fluid.

Then I took it out for a good drive to test it all.......

 

:eek:GOOD GOD, these cars are fast. You soon forget! And I can see why real respect is needed, being rear drivers you can easily get caught out!

Absolutely effortless power, overtaking 4, 5, 6 cars with ease. The acceleration is very addictive.

Its good to have a break from them some times, it makes you appreciate them all the more:)

BTW running basic mods - 1mm tips/Zedworld ECU/aftermarket exhaust and Apexi induction kit, so imagine running 340bhp at the flywheel.

Just thought I'd share my experience!

Could'nt agree more - now the weather is getting a little better i am starting to drive it a little more - and its feckin mental :D

Can't agree with you more mate, I love the kick you get out of them. I had roughly the same mods as you and when I hit kickdown it feels like the front wheels lift off the road :bow:

My next trick is a full suspension change, as in new struts, springs and associated hardware then its time for the Manwell conversion!! Can't wait for that!
