i know this is kinda the wrong section, but this is more to do with repairs than anything else.

 

Has anyone in the central belt done a heater matrix replacement ?

ive just ordered a primera one and will be looking at doing it in a fortnights time when im back up for a few days, and was wondering if anyone would care to help me, compensation will be provided of course :duffer:

This is the only help I can give, but let me know how you get on, especially with with the 2mm mod that has to be done. I have to attack the same problem myself.

i could do it myself, but ive been away from the wife for 4 weeks, and dont wanna spend a day working on the car, id get my ear chewed for that :smash:

Yeh it is a bit chilly for working outside, and an as you say it would probably start raining halfway through the job.

 

Sorry cant help with a garage, mine is as much use as a chocolate fireguard for doing any work like that in, can hardly open the door far less hang upside down through it doing a matrix. Wrong side of the country anyhow.

Ruishy & Bazz - when you go at it, can you take a couple of pictures showing the part that needs modification. I have decided that it will be the replacement P10 matrix that I will put in. I'm not going for a 2nd hand one and am not going to be paying huge money for the OEM zed one.
