You could send them off, if you can fit them yourself then try them out first. I wouldn't mind having his wife if she buys nice presents like that lol

I bought them myself, selling aload of my sound equipment for my car.

Now I just have to sell the bits;)

Refurbishment on the older teins works out very expensive. When I enquired I didn't get an actual price, but was told that with the cost of parts for the older ones, it might work out as expensive as a new set :(

Dont refurb them till they need it, its just not worth it. For the money like mentioned above you could have bought a new set. Tiens are good for 50-60k miles, if they are no signs of leaks and everything is free and working then no need to.

maybe not lol, but to refurb will cost like 100-150 a shock!!!! add that to your purchase price and go from there.
