This morning A very good friend of mine was sadly killed in a car accident. Some of you knew him as oldgit. He was the one who bought my 300zx a little while back and gave it back.

I am shattered. we have been very good friends for over 22 years and as of october last year we lived next door but one to each other.

He has quite a reputation thoughout the japanese car forum clubs and I am sure that many will miss him.

Please accept my appologies for bringing bad news to the site but TBH I felt the need to speak about it with my friends.

Just to let everyone know, the Club has purchased some flowers which will be delivered to Vini's place before the funeral on behalf of all the members of the 300zx.co.uk Club.

A touching tribute.

That's so sad to read. I had two friends killed the same way about 6 years ago. Their car burst into flames. They could identify Vicky's body as it wasn't badly burned, she was pulled out of the car. Karl didn't manage to get out as the fire took hold and burnt him alive. His remains had to be identified by DNA.
