Started the thread for the fun of it. I know how people get excited about resprays and was inspired by some advertisement spin that you would see on e-bay for some monster performance motors.

 

Ah - one of the joys of not working at present - having a lot of time to think about nothing and getting crazy ideas.

Jesus you won't believe this but I ran into such bad luck at one point with vehicles - (the torque converter went on the X5, the engine was gone in the 530d and I was waiting on parts to come for the zed), that my daughter asked if she would have to go to school in that thing or on her pony. It nearly became it. I kid you not.... one for the memory book I think.

could have done with a loan of it in kilkenny for a week-roads so bad 20min drive became 1hour 30mins.......
