Had the Italians started with a scrum half it would have been somewhat closer, but fair play to England for punishing some terrible mistakes.

 

And yes, I do hope we get revenge on the French for winning it in the last minute last time in Croker!

Good close game that.

That was a good match between the french and ourselves. The mentality seems to have changed with the players, for the better I might ad. Great to see Gordan D'Arcy score considering what he has been through. Must say it was a pleasing performance and an excellent game to watch. The French will counter from any position so looks like there will be more exciting games to come.

well, i gotta say.....from the four teams who played today, Ireland are my favourites for the 6 nations.

 

TBH, england played shit. They got lucky from a few italian mistakes. Italy started to play when they got a scrum half but never really looked like being able to recover from the half time deficit.

 

Ireland and france both played brilliantly! At half time, france's tackle percentage was 97%. NINETY-SEVEN!

That says something about the irish attacking game, if they're still able to beat the french.

 

Now roll on tomorrow........

Yup it will be a tough game for Scotland if Wales are on the same sort of form as last year.

My fathers side of my family tree are Scottish so hope Scotland will perform well and beat Wales (sorrow Wales)s so come on the underdogs:hyper:

I would love to see Scotland win, but I really can't see past a Wales win.

France Ireland was a great game, really enjoyed it.

 

Was dissapointed with England but Italy looked awesome once they fixed getting the ball to the back line.

Excellent 1st half from Scotland & Wales. That was a nasty Tackle by Geoff Cross, but he payed the price by knocking himself out, and gaining himself a Yellow card. Brilliant Rugby. :hyper:

Yep well played Wales, I think a bit of kicking practice is in order this week for them. cant see England matching Wales next week sadly.
