Hi can someone help i had a XR3I that was hit by a lorry back in November. was told it would be a right off so got myself a Z. Now been told today they are going to repair the car this well cost twice as much as the car is worth.plus if i get the car back it will have no MOT now As that has run out no tax and the insurance is now on the Z . were do i stand with this as i dont wont the car now i have a Z :rant:

If it won't pass an MOT then surely it's worthless?

 

I'd take that point up with your insurance company; or if they still insist on repairing it get the same garage to MOT the car then sell it.

If they say it needs to be repaird, make the MOT and all work required part of the repair bill. They have to put the car back to the standard befor the crash, before the crash it was MOT'd ;)
