Thought I`d share some pics of a track day I went to a few days back with my brother in-law. It was at Sepang circuit in Malaysia where they hold the F1.

First time at a Malaysian track day and pretty much similar in rules to UK track days.

Some very nice machinery at the track day both on and off. Here in Malaysia the national Proton car is very popular and my bro-in law as a Proton Wira which is essentially a rebadged Mitsi Lancer. Except his has an EVO 4 engine and loads of go faster bits. Was running on semi-slick tyres and was rapid....

Managed to get past a lot of expensive machinery....

Also very popular are Hondas...was impressed with the Civic Type R 4 door...the handling on this thing was incredible.

Dont think my zed would have lasted 1 lap in the 38 degree heat...plus it was in the garage getting sorted again..:(

Have to go agains the flow thought. Matt black = not for me !

Wow looks awesome. Must be great to race around Sepang. The tarmac must be sticky as anything.

It`s a nice track but it gets really really hot....can imagine the F1 drivers sweating like crazy.

Will be at the F1 in April....missus is one of the F1 docs so will hopefully get a pass to mingle around
