Hi all, things are starting to heat up (if you'll pardon the slight pun ;)) for my band, "This Burning Age" and as we've got a couple of interesting gigs coming up soon I thought I'd post up the details in case anyone fancies coming along for a night of copious alchohol and loud music... :D

 

The first is at the Wharf 101 Bar in Walsall on Friday February 13th : http://www.myspace.com/wharfbar10

A great looking place in a nice waterside location it's a crackin' venue that makes a huge change from the usual "indie toilets" you sometimes end up in! ;)

We're headlining the night supported by 4 other great bands plus a guest DJ (which is looking likely to be Emma Scott from Kerrang Radio).

 

 

The second is a really big break for us. We're opening for Hundred Reasons at their show at the O2 Academy 2 on Sunday March 29th, in association with Kerrang Radio. Aside from us and the headliners there's also Johnny Foreigner as the other support act.

 

It's going to be, quite frankly, awesome! :D

 

Tickets are normally £11+booking fee but as we're playing we get a ticket allocation so any bought through us will not include the extra couple of pounds for the booking fee.

 

For those that definately want to come if you put your names down in this thread I can put your names down on the allocation list, so you'd just settle up with me either before hand or on the night. It's only a saving of a couple of quid but in this current economic downward spiral every bit helps! :)

Will do Tony! :) Funnily enough plans are afoot on the latter...just taken delivery of a set of custom designed guitar picks (black background with our anarchy "A" logo in white) which will be included with each of the special editions and possibly a limited number of the standard albums :)

 

Just coming to the end of sorting the album artwork so hopefully it won't be long now...the plan is to have them completed and ready for sale in time for the Hundred Reasons support gig on Match 29th...in fact I'll be putting up that post soon so people can put their names down if they want one :)
