with all this talk of life on mars, do you think that their is any itteligent life out there amongst the stars and planets

i think there is life somewhere, i mean why not, we exist so why cant anyone else

maybe the start of this planet came from life brought from another galaxy on lets say a comet of sorts, we could be just a little ant farm developed by supreme beings????

or do you think we are alone

PMSL @ little green men.

I was expecting a thread referring to all the lads on the forum jealous as fook of you, cos of your lass's necklace.

Haven't NASA comfirmed there is life on mars? they found a cloud of methane they believe was caused by some sort of bug.

If there is an infinite number of planets, which may be possible unless we can quantify the size of the universe, then statistically there must be life out there.

i dont think there is. as everything relys on the sun so the futher away you get there should be less of a chance of anything being there,

The Sun is just a star mate, there's billions of them :nelson:

true. but none of them give off enough light or any heat to create life.

There may be another one but who knows??????????

you dont need to go to mars to find mentane, iv'e been ill lol

Lots of people assume that other forms of life need heat and water etc to live. What if some aliens would thrive in massively cold climates eating dust? We dont know do we. The other thing is sooooo many people believe in god but not aliens I can't figure that one out either. Absolutely zero credible proof on either.

With me Aliens and God will remain a mystery until proved but I lean towards aliens being out there. FFS Just look at Stellaz. :)

Err not quite true there :)

Take a look at these photos..........

If Betelgeuse took the place of our Sun its outer surface would extend between the orbit of Mars and Jupiter. Antares (Alpha Scorpii) is also a red supergiant and extremely large about 700 times the diameter of our Sun and one of the brightest stars in the heavens.

All suns are stars, the univers is so vast that there are more stars/suns than there are grains of sand on all the beaches on earth....... Trillions upon trillions.....

That's a lot of suns huh? Even if you narrow it down to 1 in 100,000,000 suns might have planets that are very similair to ours in size, temperature & consistency you still end up with millions of possible places for life to exist...

We aren't alone, we can't be.

:bow: 100% agree, there must be other forms of life somewhere out in the infinate universe..... at what stage of evolution ...... who knows they could be microscopic or more evoled than us. We (Humans) and all the life on our earth only look like we do because of our position from the sun and climate, we have evolved to our surroundings; if we can on this ball of rock called earth then somewhere out there has to be some sort of life, and I doubt that they are little green men who fly around in flying saucers.

pmsl, cheeky fooker

lol

i to belive & i'm sure last year the found another solar system very similar to ours...eg a bright star(sun) with planets orbiting it at similar distances from the star as earth is from the sun!!! we would be very nieve to think in that big wide universe we are the only ones...& we our stiil finding new speices on our own planet let alone another!!
