Calling all eCommerce specialists - re: Magento Commerce

Hi all,

Just a general enquiry as to whether any of you have worked with the Magento eCommerce platform (http://www.magentocommerce.com). I'm looking to upgrade my various sites using their software but as I'm no expert I wouldn't mind knowing there was someone out there who could offer some advise.

Ta muchly!

It's the first i've heard of it. I use my own e-commerce system to run my sites but i was in the process of upgrading it to something a bit special but what's the point if this exists :D lol

I only came across it a few weeks ago myself. Judging from some of the feedback left on the site (as well as having spoken to some users of the software) I am confident that this is the platform for the foreseeable future. It's open source so plenty of new developments and appears a lot better than OsCommerce. I'm going to give it a try and see how far I get with it. So far it's ticking all my requirement boxes, including full integration with my current payment processor, Protx.
