When i started my car 2 days ago it seemed as tho it ran out of petrol so i got more petrol then went to start it but it just keeps turning over i checked if there was a spark but it hasent got a spark on any of the coils i have changed the PTU, coils, plugs checked the ecu for codes but it just flashes code 55 could someone please help?

CAS! The big aluminium thing on the front of the engine, passenger side.

 

Mark it's current position then take it off. With the ignition on turn it round and you should hear the injectors clicking and plugs firing. If not then it's CAS unit itself or connectors or wiring.

there must be a brake in the wires somewhere. connectors? check the ecu connector is plugged in properly and not over tightened easy mistake to make.

Definate symptoms of a faulty CAS, I think.

and thank you to every body who has replyed i think i might just take it to zedworld i think atleast he knows alot more than me lol if i start to mess with it i could break some thing eles and end up costing a furtune lol

try cleaning the connector of the CAS, that's what mine was when I had your symptoms ;)

its all in jap and dont speak the language so couldent check it unless u know which one it is

yeah mine's all jap too!!! d=there might not even be a fuse...? have u tried:

 

. cleaning the connectors both sides of the ptu?..the go green!..(mine done this)

.have u got an alarm/imobilser?..key thob battery?

If you've got fuel but no spark on all cylinders then definately sounds like a PTU issue to me. Are you 100% sure the swapped PTU is good?
