ive just managed to get on the net after ten days without!!!

my router packed in two weeks ago, or at least it couldnt connect to the net, neither could my crappy wanadoo livebox. after 6 or 7 calls to orange tech support over the last week, there's still no internet connection (flashing lights on the front of the box) and theyve been fobbing me off with all sorts of rubbish about line upgrades and engineers taking a look into it and will contact me (not one call yet!)

so i decide to reinstall and hook my old modem up and abra cadabara it works straight away!!!

so can someone explain how i can be on the net with a good 6.4mb connection with my old modem, yet two routers (that were both working perfectly 2 weeks ago) suddenly can't even find the net? and im talking even plugging them directly into the filter and then into the main incoming phone line!?!?!?

I found Orange's stuff to be really cheap crap and we had loads or faults with ours!! Switched to Virgin and only had 1line crash in 2years and they even called me to let me know it was back online when they fixed it :D
