I was in a taxi one day and he had this sat nav, i couldnt take my eyes off it cos as we were driving along it was showing real pictures of the buildings as we were driving past, it plays mp3s and has the ability to play it through the car stereo by tuning it into an fm channel, if that wasnt enough, it plays videos, pics, games nice size screen. A great, but annoying speed alert in the form of a police siren.

All this technology for £99

Most of the picture maps are of major towns and cities, but also available are the european picture maps which is handy to be able to recognise a building or area you are looking for.

Much better than my tom tom and great for the mp3s through the stereo with having no additional wires to plug in.

I will stick a link up if anyone is interested.

Cheers

Graham

Googled it and first review I found was'nt very positive - http://www.pcw.co.uk/personal-computer-world/hardware/2218620/review-ndrive-g800-sat-nav

At the end of the day though its all about usability, and for that you can beat the Tom Tom. I've used quite a few others and they were crap in actual day to day use in comparison.

Also you can use your Tom tom as MP3 player, and play pictures and videos, and they also have a built in FM modulation to play through stereo. See - http://www.mobilnova.com/MobilNova/en/

There are a lot of add-on products for Tom Toms that allow you to do all sorts of extras.

I didnt realise that the tom tom had most of those features, only used it for what i bought it for really, a sat nav.

I have only just got it so cant comment on its useablity yet, i know a few taxi drivers that like it, but to be honest they generally only work the town they are in so would not come across some of the negatives written about it.

I got it as a toy for the car and will still use the tom tom for work as it is very useable and quick.

Also for £99 a cheap sat nav/ gadget to have.
