Thought it best to post this up in the NW section as i don't really wanna travel forever to get to a place, lol.

 

In the not to distant future i would like to get my car on the rollers and see what power its producing. So anyone know where i could have this done. I don't have a problem with travelling, but within the NW would be best :)

 

Also anybody any ideas how much of my hard earned i'll be paying, lol.

 

Also i take it i won't have any problems with it being an Auto will i??? I've never ever had this done before.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The plans are as follows -

 

Everyone needs to be at the Dyno place at 8am on Saturday 28th Feb.

 

Once everyone has arrived we will then make our way to where we will have breakfast, we will try and get there for 8.30am.

 

After we have all had a belly full of grub and a natter, we will then head back to the Dyno place where we will then get our cars on the rollers and rip the piss out of each others power readings :rofl:

I tried to dyno my J Auto TT, they told me they couldnt do it because they couldnt get it to stay in 4th gear, even with the HOLD button. Actually one the many reasons i converted to manual.

Can i ask why they had trouble keeping it in fourth? Thats the top gear.

i have read about this before, its not a problem on some auto's like the supra where you can hold it in a certain gear but i thought 'other' zed owners have had theirs tested before so it must work

Im pretty sure brian's is an auto , and said he was gonna enquire at the garage today , im on auto 2 , so defo worth asking the garage or finding out more info on it if poss !:)

well guys i have bad news..my wife and daughter have been in bed since xmas day with the flu and ive been bragging to everyone how ime hard and cant catch it..well in the earlly hours of this mornin it got me,i feel like ive got full blown aids:( ile get there in the next couple of days as i even cleaned my car for today aswell..now in the meantime someone get me a fvkin priest,"ahhhhhhhh":cry:

well after a trip over this morning it appears they have gone for the full monty with the xmas holidays...ime sure they will re-open on monday as most places seem to be doing so watch this space..oh and loads of parking so space will not be an issue

ok guys ive seen the man and i must say the set-up they have will not disapoint;)..they have a 2 week window from the 1st feb and maybe up to the 3rd week but then fully booked to end of march. the pricing is 1-13 cars its £35 per car and can come down to £30 if we can get 13 or more names:bow: you get 3 runs with a read out of fly bhp..rearwheel bhp and a torque read out,your car gets its a/f read while being run up so if the ratios not right he will not push it which is a good touch in my books. So come on chaps lets cut the bullshite and let the rollers do the taking hey:D ime looking at grabbing a mid feb slot so will need names with a "deffo" and need paying at least 1 week before to my pay-pal,once monies have been collected i will pay them. heres the place for your viewing anyway http://www.dynodemon.co.uk

well finger's crossed my overheating issue is reolved , So cant see a prob with feb especially at that price ! (mid feb is best for me 2)
