Thought it best to post this up in the NW section as i don't really wanna travel forever to get to a place, lol.

In the not to distant future i would like to get my car on the rollers and see what power its producing. So anyone know where i could have this done. I don't have a problem with travelling, but within the NW would be best :)

Also anybody any ideas how much of my hard earned i'll be paying, lol.

Also i take it i won't have any problems with it being an Auto will i??? I've never ever had this done before.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Isaac :)

Brian (znut) has also very generously offered to buy everyone breakfast out of his own pocket!

The plans are as follows -

Everyone needs to be at the Dyno place at 8am on Saturday 28th Feb.

Once everyone has arrived we will then make our way to where we will have breakfast, we will try and get there for 8.30am.

After we have all had a belly full of grub and a natter, we will then head back to the Dyno place where we will then get our cars on the rollers and rip the piss out of each others power readings

Mine will me manwell sooner or later too lol :nana2:

It'll be later rather than sooner tho! Realistically the cheapest you can do it is £1500, maybe a bit cheaper by sourcing your own parts etc... BUT you may get probs that way with missing parts etc and it could quite easily cost you more. Then maybe a bit more like just get Jeff to do it for £1650 all in - drive it in and drive it back out again - fully warranted and what not. Personally i am aiming to just get Jeff to do it and have done with it.

All pipe dreams at the mo

It never really ends - manwell conversion 1650, RLTC about 700, performance upgrades - who knows LOL. Respray and what not - i'll do that, but its finding the time to do it, wanna do a relly good job.

Hey ho, i'll get it sorted as it is now and everything else will be done as and when i get the dosh together :D

Isaac

Yeah same here mate wanna get it done right so would prob go to jeff also but same as it's all cash depending at the min!

roll on next pay day lol, :)

Hi guys before i bought my zed i got bit with an autobox going, this would cost more then the car was worth((£2300 inc VAT).

So that why i waited saved up a bit more money and bought a manual box.

Got to admit that Geff and Jamie at Zedworld was great giving me advice before i got my zed (NEVER HAD A ZED BEFORE), Also afterwards they serviced and changed the cam belt also upgraded the ECU and re-mapped. That service from them was worth every penny spent from begining to end.

I don't think that they would reconise my Zed now due to new bodykit/paint job.

Im certainly debating either a complete recon on my box or a manual

conversion!, but 2 be honest i'm in no rush to do either as gonna save for some other mods also, and got another car i can use for now:)

So means all my spare cash can go in to teh Z fund:dance:

my autobox went a few months back and i decided to get it converted to manual as the genral consus seemed to be if i got another auto i would be back in time asking for a manual. will be picking it up at the end of next week and am very excited

Sounds good bud, and yeah im not going for the 2nd hand unit just incase it gives up also after a few miles

so it's left as do i

a) Get a complete recon on my box

b) Save, for a manual conversion

a recon box will cost the same if not more than a manual conversion.

And zworlds price includeds a new clutch.

I love my manual.

Thanks Pete im gonna have to give jeff a call i think sooner rarther than later

have been priced £1,100 for my box to be fully reconditioned , thought that was ok on price , but 2 think it's not much more for a manual con makes me just wanna save that bit extra :):)
