I have just read this on another forum. I know it's early in the morning and I can't sleep but it just doesn't seem right to me.

it's true in as much as you can brake later, and better brakes give more confidence. As Mario says it will make a difference on the track. on the street however, your car wont actually go any faster.

Yeah as said there is truth in it. If you have good brakes you can brake later therefore giving you the ability to go faster overall.

But bigger brakes are usually Heavier than smaller ones (OBV!) so thats more weight to lug around and means you willl bea tad slower (Will be unnoticable unless you went from stock to like Huge 8 pot brakes :P)

But yeah on a track later braking will make you go faster on a track but not in a straight line
