Hi all,

 

I am a complete newbie as far as 300zx's go. However, there has just recently been one part ex'd at a garage my bro works at and I was after a bit more information on it / the cars in general.

 

TBH the garage themselves do not know a lot about the car, and have said that it is a limited edition of 50 and has 400bhp? I have had a quick search but can not find any models that would match those details. Was there ever a limited run of 50 cars of any model? The details the garage has are:

 

92J Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo Slick Top Manual

400bhp

1 of 50 ever made

52000km

Imported in 2005 and has had a cam belt and three services since then but nothing prior to this.

Silver Metallic

Will come with 12 months MOT

 

 

 

Any information on the exact model, stats, known issues / things to look out for and a rough price you would expect the car to cost would be really appreciated.

this aint the first time this has happened, and wont be the last, was trying to be nice about the friendly warning, now if i see anything that even resembles a for sale post then i will delere this thread and anymore like it

If I owned the car and I was asking how much I thought it was worth than fair enough. But I don't, so therefore could not accept anyones offer?! I was only after some information not just on this car, but the cars in general.

 

Instead of suspecting something to be something it is not, may be next time wait until such a post has been made and then take the appropriate action, rather than jumping to conclusions. As the rules are there for all to see, so if I had have turned this in to a for sale thread then it would have been my own fault if it had been deleted without warning.

StellaZ is a very fair moderator who always acts in the best interests of this club and makes everybody adhere to the rules. So I just think respect needs to be shown to his comments as moderator, rather than getting into an argument.

i must apologise if i sound too hasty, but as i mentioned, this isnt the first and nor will it be the last time a thread like this has urned into a for sale thread

Lovely car tho, if i had some money (any money) i would be interested

not getting at pete, just using this post as an examle of how a genuine i need a price of how much my car is worth thread can turn into a for sale thread

 

the warning i posted was not directly aimed at you (bezza4), but a friendly warning to the rest of our members that regi users aint permitted to sell-so dont ask or encourage

As it turns out the details and photos my bro sent to me is of a car that someone is looking to part ex at the garage and not a car that the garage has already got in, so I may still never get to see the car that appears to be a model in demand.
