just bin playing my new left 4 dead and it just died like a power cut. Motherboard light is on but nothing will fire. I think it may be the power supply it's only 4 months old a Red PC power one and was nearly £125 on its own. I am so fecked off just hope it's not the mobo or taken my quad out with it :headvswal:headvswal:headvswal:cry::cry:

Will you just take out a psu from another desktop then and try firing up your mobo that you still have no idea works or not lol:headvswal

when i get round to pulling the board I will try one of my others in that case on that psu it's far easier than trying to get the psu out of that case it's a right pig

i'll rma my old board now for repair can't wait should be able to pick new board up tomorrow.another quick question will vista home prem oem be ok with registering with this board as I bought and installed it on my old board. Does it register your components like xp used to?

They have got a bit picky about using oem stuff now, i'm not 100% sure to be honest. Plus why on earth would you want to use vista running specs like that! Stick with XP!

If its the same board model and nothing has changed apart from the replacement of the motherboard it should still work, its sometimes wont work, sometimes it will :P

Good luck with it
