My son has just bought an HDMI cable (HDMI to HDMI) is there an adapter needed to plug it in at the xbox end, Im trying my best not to luck thick in front of him, so any link would be appreciated so I can go back in his room and just say "of course you need an adapter, everyone knows this, Its this one" (pointing at the computer screen:D

There is a HDMI slot on the premium consoles.

But i do not think some of the early versions have them...

 

If your sons xbox doesnt have the HDMI connector there then he can get a converter..

Just My luck as always, he has 1 of the older ones so will need an adapter, but that price:shock: nothings gone right for me this year. Thanks anyway mate

just get a component cable(£20), much better than scart or the standard 3 plug jobie. Im using the component cable, borrowed my mates hdmi cable and couldnt tell the difference.

i used the component cable when i had my 360 and i couldnt noticed the difference between it and when i plugged the hdmi cable in

ive tried the component and HDMI in my elite and there is a difference.

 

Component (switched to HD) is better that normal but HDMI is much better
