ive recovered my interior and the old stuff simply peels off.

and the plastics on the targas have been done before too but they're expensive new and are usually painted

yeah i can see that you have done yours now your said-looks wicked!i ment the interior part of the targas by the handle:)il crack on with that then i think

On some panels it's a bitch to get off and on others you have a foam liner under it which when you remove the tweed it disintegrates.

Sometimes it's actually easier to just fit over the top of the existing tweed, this gives it a softer feel and also keeps the correct lines.

Ive done the targas, there are some metal retaining washers that hold the plastic handle onto the panel, most of the plastic pins will break but you can glue it back in place, covering is easy, i did mine in leather and look great.

Most of the panels are easy to do with glue remover once youve peeled the tweed off, the door panels are probably worst as they have a vinyl backing on the tweed. Rather than trying to seperate the vinyl backing from the tweed, just pull it all off and use some ultra thin foam under the new alcantara to give it some padding.

There are some tips in the faq section which may help.

Good luck
