Hi all, well just got made redundant from Nissan so on the dole for the first time in 10 years. But anyway more to the point i am in dire need of a new interior (door cards, glove box cover, center console sides and so on). now as many of ye know i have a scraped 300tt in my garage but the door cards and stuff were the same auld type and wanna get something differant. My Z is going for the NCT on tuesday 25 ( also my birthday) so when she passes i want to get down and dirty with the interior. If anybody knows where i can get an interior i would appreciate it alot.

Plus keep an eye on e bay, good hunting and sorry to hear about your job.

Sorry to hear about the Job richard, sucks doesn't it!:( I remember trying to get interior bits last year, the ones I bought from a scrapped slicktop in kildare turned out to be in worse nick than the originals that were on it. Door cards especially, damp and warped. But I really needed to change the cream at the time so went ahead with the diy job . Just a tip....If I was ever going to do that job myself again, I would use a nice cream suede, you can get it from good fabric retailers and I've seen it on a few US cars, looks really nice and a lot easier to fit than leatherette, door card especially.

Hey Mick, well i tested it last week and she failed on battery clamp and some corrosion around the chassis but getting that sorted easily next week. the interior is somthing iv wanted to do for a while. tried to change it already but looks awful at the mo so i will go back to basic and start again. as with previous message got 1 sorted from Toker up north. its the original interior but wont make same mistakes as last time. will post picks when that is done. Nice to hear from u as well. Keep in touch.

Passed the test today at last. still a little bit of corrosion under the car but i knew 1 of the lads in the test center and he passed it for me. its slowly gettin sorted ( interior) and should have the bits for the interior soon. instead of puttin new material on i will dye the original 1 the colour i want. i have the proper stuff to do it. might just go black, its the best colour to maintain.

Does anyone have a set of TT clocks... I now have 3 sets - 2 dont work, and the 3rd has the wrong pins.

 

I really want to get this Z back on the road, but the clocks are killing me. :headvswal

i have a set of nismo clocks in the scrapper that i had working in my old TT. they are in km. not sure if jap and uk specs are differant but these are off a jap spec.

I dont know either, I have 3 jap spec sets.

 

1 - the originals = broke

 

2 - A nismo set, these fit but wont work... seller said they were working

 

3 - Jap set, but wont fit, some connevtors are wrong.

i had my set working on my old jap spec auto. if u fancy a day out to kerry i can fit them and see for u. long way to go for a set of clocks tho.
